Since ancient times, indigenous cultures have understood the importance of living in balance and harmony with the earth and cosmos. Because of this, shamanic living has been a source of empowerment, healing and fulfillment for a millennium.
Now, Hereditary Tuvan Shamaness ChokBar will bring ancient wisdom, practices, and rituals to the community in an intimate setting.
This exploration of the ethereal world and subtle realities will introduce you to spirit guides, ancestors, and power animals and awaken the interconnectivity that supports our healing, transformation, and life purpose. Shamanic work has been known to remove deeply rooted fears, attachments and unhealthy patterns that keep you from reaching your highest potential and finding personal fulfillment. Join Rev. Arda Itez and Rev. Dr. Jose Roman for a very special Open Heart Conversation to explore the path of Bhakti-yoga with one of its most beloved spiritual leaders and NY Times best-selling author, his holiness Radhanath Swami, with music by Jahnavi Harrison and friends.
Introduced to the West as The International Society For Krishna Consciousness in 1966 by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Bhakti-yoga has traceable roots to the 1st millennium, BCE. What came to be known as the “Hare Krishna Movement” developed into one of the most influential and important spiritual and social reformations in US history.
Sometimes referred to as “love for love’s sake,” Bhakti is one of the four yogic paths to enlightenment and the essence of spiritual perfection, which is to awaken ecstatic love for God.
What was it about the Bhakti tradition that inspired so many people to embrace it as their own?
Who are the Hare Krishnas?
What are the Bhakti tenets, spiritual practices and beliefs?
Discover the beauty behind one of the oldest, most well-known and often misunderstood spiritual traditions, and what led to his life of devotion directly from Radhanath Swami himself.
Our current economic model has become unsustainable, it has lost its moral and political legitimacy. In the competitive market economy it has shown a continuous ability to be creative and to increase wealth. In the last decades, there has been a progressive blurring of its link with the global common good and a significant loss of our capacity to regulate it. Economics have been disconnected from ethics and politics as financial capitalism tends to nurture a speculative race where money creates more money without sufficiently investing in the economy of goods and services useful to mankind. Destruction of the planet and its biodiversity, growing inequality and poverty, injustice, exclusion and alienation are some of the dysfunctions likely to have significant negative consequences for future generations.
